Ralph Houston, grandson of Lonnie Houston (who raised him) said "Grandfather was a carpenter, he made caskets for the deceased.  Joe White was my tribal uncle.  George Dalton, Sr., taught me how to speak and present myself.  He also taught me how to subsist for my food.  All these men were influential in ANB camp 12.  They had to be well-dressed to speak to the tribe, speak at church.  They would speak in Tlingit."
