Description:
Al Martin, Richard Dalton, Sr., John Martin, Sr., Amos Wallace all have black marks upon their faces; this signifies a death among the Ravens. Note the beaded octopus or “devilfish” bag on the far left. Named for their eight dangling arms, octopus bags are traditional and contemporary dance regalia, worn by both men and women. John Martin is wearing a yellow tunic that belonged to Richard Dalton. The white tunic on the man behind Jessie Dalton has a bull kelp design.
