This 3-minute video on harvesting Beach Asparagus was created by Huna Heritage Foundation in collaboration with the Hoonah Indian Association Enviornmental Program. We hope to encourage and inspire harvest of our traditional foods as countless generations have done before us. The beach asparagus we harvested was pickled and jarred to be given to community members during the Traditional Food Fair to be held late summer hosted by Hoonah Indian Association and Huna Heritage Foundation.
