Lonnie Houston, Tlingit name Klow koot, was T’akdeintaan, X’áakw Hít \ X’áakw Yádi Hít (Sockeye House & Small Sockeye House). He was well known for his boat building skills and supplied many of the Hoonah fishermen with double enders.  He was also a fisherman. 

He was born on the 10th of January, 1885.  He lived his entire life in Hoonah.  He had a son named Leo Houston and a daughter, Helen Houston, both of whom were adopted. 

Lonnie Houston passed away in 1965.
