Clarence “Pete” Peterson came to Hoonah as a seine crewmember from Washington and later married Bertina Benson Bevans, daughter of Louise Hammond and granddaughter of Jennie Malcolm. Pete and Bertina had three children, Amy Lou, Floyd and Evalee. Pete is holding his nephew, his sister’s son.
